Education at Christ the King

“Christ the King Catholic School is a community that is rich in diversity, acceptance, values and stewardship. Our teachers and staff provide students with a Christ-centered education focused on the growth and development of the whole child. Our philosophy of education places proper emphasis upon spiritual, intellectual, cultural, social and physical values, as appropriate for children of different ages and developmental needs.

While CKS emphasizes personal responsibility for learning, we accommodate the individual learning style of each child. We believe teachers, staff and families must work together to form a strong partnership that best nurtures and cares for each child’s needs and helps each child reach his/her personal best. I encourage you to contact me with any questions you may have. I truly look forward to sharing these learning years with your family.”

Through dedication to our core principles of academics, community and faith we see our children go on to thrive in the high school of their choice.

Christ the King graduates consistently earn acceptance to prestigious area high schools.

Members of CKS’ 2021 graduating class earned merit scholarships based on academic achievement and high-standardized test scores to prominent area high schools, aiding them with the financial obligation of private/parochial high school.

CKS’ 2021 graduating class has earned these percentile ranks on 8th Grade standardized tests:

Language arts, 89th percentile,
(reading, written expression, conventions of writing)

Math computations, 90th percentile

Service is a core value at CKS. Students annually support food drives, toy drives, worlds missions, and more. CKS has a Service Club, the Mini-Vinnies, modeled after the works of St. Vincent De Paul.
